Magnolia Photography UK

Sarah Wingfield started Magnolia Photography UK in 2008 from her home in Newton Aycliffe. 

Immediately her artistic eye and attention to detail intrigued many a customer and she offered a range of photographic services that covered child photography, wedding photography, modelling, nature photography and more.

She was inspired to start the business after studying at college and working as a model in the alternative fashion and catalogue industries. 

She is internationally published.

She started off as a model for band merchandise and blew up as a MySpace influencer from there.

Suddenly she was VIP guest listed to various concerts and events including events in Newcastle and after modelling she wanted to be behind the camera more than in front of it.

Magnolia Photography UK was born.

She started off amazingly well but was befallen with complications during her pregnancy and was diagnosed with different disabilities in 2009 and 2010.

This may have explained a lot of past struggles Sarah had faced and overcame and she was saddened when faced with having to say goodbye to Magnolia Photography UK as it had to be closed due to her mobility issues.

Sarah had to use a wheelchair for many years and has worked very hard to now walk with a walking stick so she can revamp Magnolia Photography UK and continue to make art and in future hopes to reopen her photography section to sell prints.

Sarah is still often seen taking pictures of the sky and clouds and nature.

Her personal experiences with disabilities helps her to continue her advocacy and use her voice to action positive change.
